College clearance carried out in Wales

A recent job carried out in Llandrindod Wells in Wales which required a full commercial clearance of a large four storey college campus that had recently closed and was being converted to housing. The job required a complete mix of items to be cleared including furniture, commercial kitchen equipment, waste disposal, with rooms including a gym, office, a large commercial kitchen and multiple offices. This was made more challenging by the fact that there was no electricity in the building due to damp issues which meant all lifts were out of use and generators and lights were required. We also used a shoot system for the higher floors. During the week, our teams disposed of 30 tonnes of waste which were transported by our teams to be recycled at a local waste transfer station, and 10 tonnes of confidential waste which we had shredded on site by a local company.

With a large commercial clearance such as this we can cover England and Wales, clearing any commercial property including colleges, schools, office buildings, warehouses and shops. We have full waste disposal licenses as required by the Environmental Agency and are fully insured. We are clearance specialists and work with local charities to divert as much as possible away from landfill. Where some items are not fit for charity, we use waste transfer stations; the majority of which in this current climate have a recycling rate of 90 percent

The 10 tonnes of shredded paper from this property clear out was recycled for pet bedding. The wood was recycled for renewable energy. All metal was recycled and textiles were sent to textile recycling.

I asked Samco to clear my late Sister’s house in West Sussex and, even though I live in the East Midlands and bearing on mind the distance involved, I cannot fault them on their customer service and professionalism. Many thanks, Kate

Very reliable, efficient and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Samco Services is a local business to East Grinstead. They are friendly, professional, reliable and hard working. I have asked for their help twice now and both times they were able to do the job fast. This is the company to go to when you want a job done.

This company was very efficient and easy to work with. I called them up to remove bedroom furniture and as they happened to be in the area, they came the same day and got it done with no fuss. Really Thankful I called them and not another company!

Appointment to remove a large sofa bed was between 1 and 3pm. Three young lads arrived dead on 1pm. Were very courteous. To alleviate any possible damage taking it out of a first floor flat they dismantled the sofa and were done in only 10 minutes. Would recommend Samco every time.

The house we moved into has a garden that hasn’t been touched in years. These guys arrived right on time, worked like Trojans all day and left my garden immaculate and ready for planting. Can’t thank or recommend them enough, 10 out of 10
